The timeless enchantment of a magical fairy tale is reborn with the Rodgers & Hammerstein hallmarks of originality, charm and elegance. “Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella” tells the story of a kind-hearted young woman named Ella who is forced into servitude by her cruel stepmother and stepsisters, who dreams of a better life. With the help of her Fairy Godmother, she's transformed for one unforgettable night, attending a royal ball where she captures the heart of Prince Topher. The show follows Ella and Topher’s love story as political machinations, social class and midnight deadlines attempt to keep them apart.

  • A charming, nuanced and ultimately upbeat show with plot twists that differ from the version you know from Disney

“Oliver Tam as Prince Topher is excellent and convincing as a shy young man aware of his enormous responsibilities and trying to find his place in the world. He thinks about his heart, his mind and his soul. He is trying to understand his own self worth.”

  • Dolphin Show’s ‘Cinderella’ is the fairytale escape we all need

“Ella (Communication senior Sofi Pascua) and Prince Topher (Communication junior Oliver Tam) use this gift of live theatre to turn a romance that can often seem stale or simplistic into something the audience wants to root for. The actors center the magic and romance of the show with their vocals and powerful duets.”

  • The 82nd Dolphin Show “Cinderella” enchants audiences in a journey to self-discovery

“The production left a profound message: If you just believe in yourself and fight for change to happen, you can make your dreams come true.”
